That's in "Ashes to Ashes", in LoM he's driving a decent car.

I was given a photo in black and white but seem to have lost that on my journey so glad you have it.. i loved the boat scene but took a few photos with my own camera which you will all love..

Glad you all have watched the clip and dick kirrin has watched the episode again thats fab

Hey Tony, what you need to do next May is show the whole episode and get me, Julie and Marcus to do a live DVD-style commentary for it!

60km??? ...Sure, but with telescope only? Please indulge me Lady, but I can't really imagine this. I haven't been to Britain yet not to speak of North Sea.

Can only see it if a clear day and standing on the white cliffs.. but a bit cold at the moment with snow.... and us city girls dont like the cold.. have fun julie (jo) :D :D

Isn't it the English Channel? :? I believe it is about 20 miles (30k), so should be viewable on a clear day. Of course, if PP were to look across the North Sea, he might not be able to see France! :wink:

Between Cap Gris-Nez and Dover there is a distance about 35 km. Isn't it???
I had misestimated very roughly and have been looking up at Wikipedia.
