The Sweeney 1975
Here's a clip from The Sweeney that fans of the 1970s Famous Five series will find
interesting. It of course features Jennifer Thanisch playing the part of Jack Regans daughter Susie Regan.

Re: The Sweeney 1975
Here's another actor from the 1970s Famous Five TV series who has appeared in "The Sweeney", this time it is Ronald Fraser. A very well established character actor until his death in 1997, Fraser played the part of Mr Barling in Five Go To Smuggler's Top back in 1977.
Here he is in a short clip from a 1976 Sweeney episode, ”Selected Target”.

Re: The Sweeney 1975
I remember Ronald Fraser playing Mr Barling. He was very good.
I also remember seeing him in an old movie, can't remember the name but I think it had CROOKS in the title. And they were hiding out on an island, dressed as Monks. Barbara Windsor was also in the production.
The reason why I say this, is because it was filmed, (or some of it was) down here in Cornwall, in a little fishing cove called Portloe. The island of course is ficticious.

The film that Julie had in mind starring Ronald Fraser was "Crooks in Cloisters" (1963)

Re: The Sweeney 1975
Have any of you Brits ever found it odd that Jennifer Thanisch's name was often misspelled in the end credits of the episodes she ever guest-starred in??
