1970s Famous Five series theme song
Here's a nice mp3 of the 1970s Famous Five series theme song. It is the full length version with the instrumental intro. Also available on the same link page is a track titled "Exotic Islands", this was used as incidental music in a few episodes. Enjoy!

Here's my own little tribute to The Famous Five of the 70s...
Put it together using footage from 3 fav episodes... I have all but two of the orginal series!
Anyways, it's hosted on YouTube!

Cheers and here's to summer adventures and secret tunnels!

That's great, Marc - really well done!
I don't think Julian's swimming trunks are quite what Eileen Soper had in mind, though.

A prompt five stars from me! Great stuff.
One thing though - I never realised Sylvester Stallone had been in the show!

It's eerie, but Gary Russell REALLY looked like this boy I knew in my first school (Paul Kelly if you're reading, it's you!) I never realised it until I saw this video.
I just know I'm going to be singing this song all of tomorrow!

I think the lyrics are somewhere on the forums, Stephen!Stephen wrote:It's eerie, but Gary Russell REALLY looked like this boy I knew in my first school (Paul Kelly if you're reading, it's you!) I never realised it until I saw this video.

And the 'b' side to the single ('Together again') is just as catchy!

I dont think I've ever heard the B side to the single. Does anyone have a link where I can hear it?

I can send you an e-copy - I upload it on a particular site and then send you the link to download. You would need to pm me your email address.Lucky Star wrote:I dont think I've ever heard the B side to the single. Does anyone have a link where I can hear it?
I don't think I can upload it on here - although it would be nice if I could. Certainly can't load it from work, anyway.

Great video montage, but anyone who wishes to listen to that B side should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves!
