Hi there, I did some research on this matter and found out that there are quite a few FF-tracks on the Bruton Music LP "Darkside" (e.g. "Dissolves" - my favourite). Great stuff. Some more tracks are scattered on other Bruton LPs (e.g. Driving force, Terrestrial journey etc.). I am still looking for one particular track (you can hear it quite often, e.g while Uncle Quentin and Sooty are walking through the fog at the end of "Smuggler's top", but I am not sure if the German version features the same tracks at the same time as the British release...). Thanks in advance for any hint!

Cheers,
Poxy

Found the answer myself. The track is called "Place to place" from the Bruton Music-LP "Leisure" (if anyone is interested in this fact).

Best regards,

Hi Petermax, I did some detective work :D - look for the following Bruton Music LPs:

- Drama Montage, Vol. 1 (guess you already got it - the best one!)
- Darkside (full of great FF-tracks)
- Leisure (only Track "Place To Place")
- Thriller (Track "Underwater Beauty 2")
- Good times (Track "Montego Bay" = the same track as "Exotic Island" by B. Bennett)

I found even more tracks (e.g. Track: "Papillon" = the track with single German flute), but I do not recall the LP at the moment. Anyway, with these LPs you should cover the majority of FF incidental music!

Cheers,
Poxy

WOW... a treasure trove waiting to be discovered!

Thanks for the details. I'd love to have all these tracks... I still get tingles when they play in random on my iPod etc.

Are any of these albums available on the net? Or is it bid with a fistful of dollars.

Darkside is available for free. Another one I can't access, strange download client that never lets me get the file :(

Any info on sources would be great. Thanks again for your detective work

Hoorah!

Brian Bennett's Illustrated London Noise is available here:

http://thelibraryhunt.blogspot.com/2009 ... noise.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

But I can't download it, seems like a pay-up-front service - the free share service has an error. Anyone else able to get the file?

I was able to get Darkside from here:
http://www.frameworkmx.com/search.php?q ... ern+Themes" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hope we can have more of this music hosted on here soon?! :)

Smashing :mrgreen:

Illustrated London Noise downloaded fine for me, but Darkside seemed to be tied in with a pay up front service. Not to worry, as this album is available from a number of locations. Thanks for the links.

Maybe it's a territorial thig... that Rapid Share site doesn't ever seem to work for me in the antipodes :/

Any chance you can upload it and share the tracks on your very proficient Mediafire.com site Petermax??

Hi Ingots,

sorry for my late reply. You've already been close to the treasure! :D

Here’s a “precious” hint for you (and of course for all other FF-incidental-music-fans: Go back to the link that you've already mentioned above (The Library Hunt). Then click on “Bruton” (right side). Scroll down underneath the LP "City Limits" - there you can download a pdf-file, which will put a smile on your face.

Cheers,
Poxy
