Sporting of you to do an impression of the guitar track, Marc! 8) I had fun listening to that, though the rest of my family just looked at one another and shook their heads in disbelief!

Heya,

thanks for providing the link... listening now. This is Drama Montage 2 yea?

I only recall a couple of the tracks used in the FF series. That means another album of incidental/drama music was used, I wonder what?! The mystery continues...

Love this 70s sound of intrigue.

Many thanks again

It's always been a fav of mine but it's proving to be quite elusive.

Enjoy the rest of Sunday

Good one Marc! I don't recognise it I'm afriad- grab a sample from the episode. I have tons of library stuff from the 70's. All tracks on drama Montage 2 are bu Brian Bennett again but it's not as good as the first one. Also it's probably not the best quality but i have the LP si may redo it when i get a new deck.
If anyone has any requests post up a link!

I don't think I have that bass track but it does sound a bit familiar once it gets going. I'll keep an eye out. Your rendition was spot on by the way!

Thanks for Soft Haze - also a fav on my list!!

Glad to know my rendition could be identified :)

I've recorded one example of the cool bass track from Five Go Off in a Caravan

and also a Flute underscore from Five Go Adventuring Again:

What is this? Surely not the fabled and very elusive Drama Montage 2? Thank you very much Retronic for making this available, I shall look forward to having a listen. What I will not do however, is re-watch and analyse all 26 episodes of the 70s series for incidental music content. Much as I am a fan of the Famous Five, there are limits!

By the way, the links posted by Ingots do not appear to be working, I was rather looking forward to hearing that "impression".

Thanks Ingots, the links worked fine for me. Your rendition was quite unlike anything that I have heard before, I don't really know what more to say.

Morning all
Marc, here's a late/ early birthday present for you:

http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=05da ... f6e8ebb871" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Very weird- I put my ipod on shuffle and in the shower i could hear this tune which sounded familiar and there it was. However this appears to be a shorter version than what you're used to.
I have it on BRK 01 and BRI 01 so there must be a longer version somewhere.
Enjoy!
