1970s FF Series Incidental Music.
Re: 1970s series incidental music.
Cheers man - I was going to upload it, but you beat me to the punch!
Nb:
Anyone had any luck locating Drama Montage 2, as there's a chance it might have other F5 cues on it

Now, when I search for things I am very much a man on a mission. However, Drama Montage 2 has eluded me altogether! It does turn up on Ebay occasionally as a vinyl LP, and reaches a very high price after a lot of silly frenzied bidding.TB3 wrote:Anyone had any luck locating Drama Montage 2, as there's a chance it might have other F5 cues on it

Here it is, Drama Montage 1
Re: 1970s series incidental music.
Great!! Just downloaded all of it!!!
Cheers again!
So I'm thinking the very cool retro track that begins with the bass guitar: "whaaa whaa whaa, wha wha wha whaaa wha wa" is on Drama Montage 2??
This is my fav track of all. Played when the Five are in search of something or on a clue.
It's so great you answered this post and provided a working download link.
All the best!! Hoorah

Thank you - this stuff is genius!!! Now...how many of the 28 tracks actually made it into Famous Five?

Re: 1970s series incidental music.
I estimate 14 tracks were used in full or in part from Drama Montage Vol1!!
Jiving to the retro intrigue and subterfuge right now

Have listened to a few of the tracks so far, and will listen to the rest shortly. Thanks to TB3 and Petermax for making them available!

Cool. Many thanks to Petermax again for his detective skills.

Many thanks for these, I've downloaded them and now can enjoy putting them on as ring tones and text alerts - I'll be one to listen out for at Blyton Day

Will do.
Is there a list compiled of what tracks were used? I haven't seen the show since I was a kid but heard it was full of library music.

What's the bass guitar track people have referred to? Anyone have a sound clip?

Re: 1970s series incidental music.
Here's me doing an 'impression' of it... it's heard on many tracks, as I recall Five Go Off to Camp and Five Go Adventuring Again, amongst others.retronic wrote:
