Granny's Lovely Necklace

Post by Zoe E »

Hi all. Just wondering if anyone can help me find a book for my sisters. This book was read to them possibly about 1955 or so and contained the story Granny's Lovely Necklace and other stories by Enid Blyton. Unfortunately I don't know the title or have any other information at present. I would love to find this book as a present for one of my sisters who is going to live abroad but I am finding it very difficult to trace in view of the limited amount of information I have about it. Can anyone help with more info please?

There's a picture of the cover and some details in our booklistings.

eBay has a copy, though a different cover (it says 1st Ed, but it's a 1st Ed of a 1968 printing!). Check the link below for details.

The book that Moonraker mentions just contains the one story, so I believe that the book you are looking for is Enid Blyton's Jolly Story Book, if you check it out in our Book Listings you may recognise some of the other stories http://www.enidblytonsociety.co.uk/auth ... php?id=563

I hope we have the right book here.

Best wishes

Thanks for the email Zoe, I'm glad I was able to help. Not a difficult book to find copies of as you can see with this link - http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchR ... 0&sortby=2

Alternatively you could wait for a copy on ebay.

Good hunting
