The Greedy Little Girl from A Book of Naughty Children

I have been searching for a book my great gandmother used to read to me. I was recently directed towards Enid Blyton's "A Book of Naughty Children" and from what I can tell it may be what I'm looking for! Due to the unpresadented times we are in I can't get a hold of a copy to dig any deeper. Can anyone tell me a little about the short story "The Greedy Little Girl"? I'm thinking that may be the story I remember, a girl who was very selfish but at the end of a story she sees a girl less fortunate who's doll was run over in the street and the selfish girl gave her a new doll proving she learned the lesson.

Welcome, Andrea. I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the story you describe. However, it's not 'The Greedy Little Girl' from A Book of Naughty Children as that's about a greedy girl called Janet who eats so much food at a pixie's party that she grows too fat to get out of the door.
