I used to read a bedtime book with my sister by Enid Blyton. I am thinking it was the Book of Brownies but am not 100% sure. It had the saucepan man in it who couldn't hear anything and said suasages instead of something else.
I would love to read this book again but cannot remember the title. Can anybody help please??
Thank you so much

Hi Tinkerbex,
Yes, you're probably thinking of The Book of Brownies (also called The Enid Blyton Book of Brownies.) It tells the story of three brownies named Hop, Skip and Jump. On their travels they meet the Saucepan Man and ask him, "Are you the Saucepan Man?" Being deaf, he doesn't hear the question properly and replies, "No, I ain't got a sausage-pan." He also appears in the Faraway Tree books - The Enchanted Wood, The Magic Faraway Tree and The Folk of the Faraway Tree.
