The Secret Island - 1st edition with dustcover

It's been a looooong time since I have posted on this forum but I remember at the time no-one had ever seen a complete 1st edition of The Secret Island with dustcover. Has one ever been lcoated or sold in the past 2 or 3 years and if so how much did it go for?

I bought a copy about a year ago for a fairly hefty sum, and arranged to have it picked up by hand rather than post. Having got my cheque as a 'banker', the seller then went off and sold it to a dealer for a higher price. I did get my cheque returned a week or so later, but it left a very unpleasant taste in the mouth!
