Bottles of goodness
Bottles of goodness
Hello, I remember reading many years ago a story about a goblin who had lost his bottles of goodness and had to have three bottles to get into Fairyland - the story was how he got his three bottles! I can't remember where this was, I've a feeling it was in The Book of Fairies, which I no longer have and is out of print - does anyone know?!

Welcome, Whitecll.
The book you're looking for is The Enid Blyton Book of Brownies (also known as The Book of Brownies.) It's about three brownies named Hop, Skip and Jump. The "bottles of goodness" part has always stuck in my mind too - I find the idea intriguing. I don't know whether the book is still in print but, if not, second-hand copies should be easy to come by.
