Questions on the Noddy books

Post by Sanojaa Thiyagarajah »

Hi members! It is a great pleasure to meet you all once again.
Here is a chance for you all to answer the questions asked from your favourite Noddy goes to Toyland book.
(1)Where did Old Man Carver cut for Noddy's hair?
(2)What is the town after the Rocking Horse Town?
(3)Who was Mr.Tubby?
It's a great pride that I get in my own society after joining the Enid Blyton Society.

1. A knife (?)
2. Humming Top village?
3. Mr Tubby was Tubby Bear's father, and I think Noddy's neighbour.

Questions from your Noddy books

Hello Lenoir :( , your attempt was a nice thing to see, but the answers for your first two questions had incorrect answers. So better luck next time.

Best wishes.

Ok 8) I think I misunderstood the 1st question.
I’ll have to look on this site and see what information I can find.

I had a look at my 8 books, but couldn't get any further. We might need some clues please. :)

Lenoir. as per your request I would like to give you a clue for the first question. That is he cut Noddy's hair from an animal.

Old Man Carver cut Noddy's hair from his cat

(Quite embarrased to be posting on a Noddy Quiz)
In came the Taggertys. They were clean, except Biddy knees looked like she had been crawling half a mile in some muddy place.

You may wait some time for verification - it's 5 years since the previous post! Maybe some kind soul will tell you if you're right - I don't know enough about the little nodding man I'm afraid.

Loony is correct. Old Man Carver cut Noddy's hair from the fur on the back of his cat, whom, he said, didn't mind!

Ah, I've just read this story to my grandson! They were hidden in a rabbit hole by an old oak tree, in Goblin Village.

Thanks, Loon!

In spite of Noddy making a bit of a faux pas with Noah's Ark, what redeeming feature let him stay in Toyland as good toy?

I think it was a mother doll who's daughter Noddy had saved from a lion who actually meant no harm to her but had scared her. Unless you mean the judge in the Toyland Court. All I can remember is that she was female? :?
