Lenoir. as per your request I would like to give you a clue for the first question. That is he cut Noddy's hair from an animal.

Loony is correct. Old Man Carver cut Noddy's hair from the fur on the back of his cat, whom, he said, didn't mind!

Ah, I've just read this story to my grandson! They were hidden in a rabbit hole by an old oak tree, in Goblin Village.

I think it was a mother doll who's daughter Noddy had saved from a lion who actually meant no harm to her but had scared her. Unless you mean the judge in the Toyland Court. All I can remember is that she was female?
