You got your wish, but were made to work very hard at the other side of the fairground, and hardly ever saw him.

You did and you got yourself a ride on the Wishing Chair—only it was very, very brief because, contrary to Mollie and Peter, *it* didn't know you and it kept bouncing and bucking and bucking and bouncing, like a bronco, trying to throw you off, and during all that brief time of being bucked and bounced around, you kept wishing you got off of the Wishing Chair with very minimal injury! Which did happen. Just.


I wish I could go sailing with George Kirrin in her boat—I'd let her row, since it *is* her boat, after all!
