Silver, as in Silver Dollar, what had been suggested for the name of the new pony born in the stables in “Five Go To Mystery Moor” (TV series).
Anne then suggested the name Misty (for Mystery Moor), and so Misty it was.

I have a vague memory that in one of the books Mr. Goon threatened (or actually hit) Buster with a poker, but I cannot remember which mystery it was. In the event that I am correct the next word is Frying Pan

Yes, quite correct, Boodi. It's in The Mystery of the Pantomime Cat. Goon is yelling at Pippin, and when Buster rushes in and around his ankles Goon actually hits him with the poker! Pippin stands up for Buster, which endears him to Fatty and Buster.

As regards Frying Pan, the first thought that came into mind was Five Have A Wonderful Time, when they're staying in the caravans and Dick fries sausages in a frying pan on a camp fire.

Towards the end of "The Mystery of the Invisible Thief" Pip puts on a pair of large boots and leaves a trail of giant footprints all over the garden as a joke, which helped Fatty to solve the mystery and identify the thief.

I suppose I had better answer this seeing as it was my idea! I found it in The Rockingdown Mystery, when Barney joins the others at one of Mr. King's lessons. He left Miranda outside, but she crept in and jumped on top of Loony, who was sleeping under the table, after which "a battle royal developed under and around the table"!!!

In Enid's short story "The Grandpa Clock" (from the Twelfth Bedside Book, an old grandfather clock, affectionately known as "Grandpa" by his owners, finds himself magically able to move, after a pixie (or a brownie, maybe) inadvertently leaves his shoes inside the clock case. He (Grandpa Clock) takes a trip down the stairs and ends up catching a burglar!
