I would never have guessed the answer without cheating - so I won't play yet!
'Oh voice of Spring of Youth
hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'

No, I'm afraid you can't have a bit of a book title, Courtenay!

No? Can't solve this one either without cheating, so I'll leave it to someone who can.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

I've had to look in the Cave as I thought of an animal, but not that one!
Julian gave an exclamation and nudged George.

Clue 1: Think 'Red' and remember the first word of the title.
Clue 2: 'What big teeth you've got Granny!'

Bull?
(only kidding - I know what it is from having looked it up in the Cave, but will leave it to someone who genuinely knows it without cheating)

Yipee!! At last someone has got it - honestly!
I was being a bit naughty here as I was trying to draw attention to a story in the Cave which is there in full with some great illustrations by Hilda McGavin - I am not sure if anybody even knew that it existed!

Over to Moonus for the next one and I can butt out with the help of Courtenay's bull!
