Enid Blyton sentence using each letter of the alphabet
Yes,can we form an Enid Blyton like sentence using every letter from the alphabet,starting with A and finishing at Z? Each person posts one word at a time until a complete sentence is formed-then we move on to the next letter of the alphabet...
Obviously some letters may prove too hard,but perhaps we could use as many words in the sentence as possible whilst using some helping letters..(when we get to Q or X for example!)
Lets start with A. It doesn't matter how long the sentence is as long as it makes sense and uses each letter in question throughout the sentence.....So the first sentence using the letter A would have a complete sentence made up of every word beginning with an 'A'....and so on..
A = Anne
B =

How is Anne Ben the smuggler the start of a sentence? I think you may need to clarify this one, Pete! I took it to mean that every word carried on with the next letter, hence:
Anne bought.........(next word begins with 'c')
Anne bought.........(next word begins with 'c')

Fiona's got it! I thought the explanation might puzzle you as it puzzled me and I wrote it!
Anyway,follow Fiona's example as we try our skill at the letter B ...
B = Bill's

"Bill's brought back biscuits!" Belinda bellowed.
(I'm thinking of Bill from MT and Belinda Towers? I can't recall whether she was in MT or SC).

Do the sentences have to be sensible? We could carry on extending the one about Bill:
"Bill's brought back biscuits!" Belinda bellowed bombastically, blowing bubbles....................

I should think the less sensible the better! Shall we stick to Pete's idea of just adding one word? We could end up with some wonderful sentences.
