I always post the answer first, as I have spent ages working out a new anagram in the past, only to find that someone (usually Anita  ) has pipped me to the post!

How come Raci's post before mine is timed at 12:43, whilst mine, posted later, is at 10:59?

Ah. Now I understand. I should have realised that 12:43am is before 10:59am.

Amazing (I'm easily pleased)! I didn't realise you could alter the date/time settings. I have now altered mine to read, for example

Sunday 28th May 2006. 13:06

All right - its a small step for mankind, but a giant leap for me! :D

Five days and no one has got this.

As it took me a couple of hours to come up with the anagram, I was initially pleased that someone didn't work it out straight away after all that effort. But now?

In some ways you could say it is the title of a famous adventure book, but in other ways perhaps not. In the short term I'm inclined to say it may not be....

I've half a mind to give you further clues - but in fact now I have given them all :D :D :D :?: :?: :?:

You've got me stumped good and proper-like.
(apologies for the poor attempt at a Mr Goon impression)

At first I was rather excited that the words "Five" and "Adventure" were in there - and then I realised nothing else fit! So I concede defeat.

Hmm - is it "Five and a Half-Term Adventure," which is a short story from one of the Magazine Annuals?

Title Anagrams

Yes Anita. All the words of the title were in my last post, if anyone was looking.

When I set the question I had the term 'half-books' in mind, which I had seen recently (and I thought if people got 'Five' and 'Adventure' it would lead them on to the other words). However it wasn't really half a book so I shall avoid those in the future, to prevent any confusion.

Well done, Anita, for solving Viking Star's fiendishly difficult anagram! :)

Viking Star had me absolutely stumped too! No Y so it wasn't a Mystery; no S so it wasn't a Secret Seven or Secret book; and no O which excluded nearly every title Enid Blyton wrote - think how many titles have the words BOOK or OF in them! I then checked my Enid Blyton bibliography and still couldn't get it!

Anyway, it's back to Anita's anagram ... anyone?
