It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Re: Find-Outers Series Quiz
I believe that PC Goon's neighbour had a Scots name, being a Mrs. M*******. If her name had been Muir we would all have remembered it, so I'm guessing that her surname might have been Murray......
'Aurélien Arkadiusz' crosses his fingers and hopes that her married surname wasn't one of the wide range of Mc / Mac possibilities.
Edit:
Well done, Eddie....you pipped me at the post yet again!

Re: Find-Outers Series Quiz
Thanks, Daisy.
Sorry to,have pipped you at the post, Aurélien.
Next question:
What is the name of Pip’s cousin who appears in The Mystery of the Vanished Prince? A bonus point if you can name his school.

Re: Find-Outers Series Quiz
Aha, Ron(ald) Hilton.
I believe that his school had a double-barreled name, part of it being Peterhouse (?after an Oxbridge College?), but the rest of it escapes me.
'Aurélien Arkadiusz' the slowest poster in town.....

Re: Find-Outers Series Quiz
Thanks, Eddie.
( I'm guessing that Ronnie's school had a double-barreled name because it had originally been two separate schools..... )
An easy question:
In which FFO + Dog novel do the children's Christmas Hols begin with them all getting 'Flu?
Bonus smilie if you can name the FFO who first got the 'Flu that time, and who added to this offence by getting away with a lighter dose than the others.

Was it Strange Bundle?
I believe it was Bets who caught it first and had a smaller dose.

Thanks.
In Holly Lane, apart from following the wrong person, what other mistake did the children make at the start that lead them to believe the person they followed was Fatty?
