Correct, Moonraker! Although from memory, the only one to actually see the 'tramp' was Eunice - Goon always turned up after the fact.
Your turn!

Hi puffin62, I can work out your question is about The Mystery of the Strange Messages but this is a pretty tough question! How about some "glues"? (to quote Bets).puffin62 wrote:Q: In their search for The Ivies FFO plus Ern come across several possibilities.

Well booklover, I think it's an easy one
FFO and Goon's nephew know from the messages that there is a house in Peterswood which is or was called The Ivies [it seemsThe House of the Rising Sun ] . To find out which house it is, they split up in 3 groups (with 2 each) and they run through Peterswood from end to end eventually finding some possible ones.
Later on, they gather around to compare results reaching a conclusion - one of the boys did has found the house they were looking for.
To me, this is one of the most exciting parts in Strange Messages
