Mowdie Mole
Could be a tricky one Anita as I have just told Mollybob in a PM answer to a question that all Dean books apart from four simply contained previously published material!!
Best wishes
Tony

A reminder of the passage:
The Mowdie the mole in her foot quite is neat from her nose, she is an eye and she is like that all and and and and it dawns and it will be able to penetrate a most dark night, her ear goes out and Joh the like all them well, it is small me it thinks.
A couple more clues:
-The characters in the book live in Oak Tree Town.
-The passage quoted above is in the form of a poem (though it's not a book of poetry.)
Anyone?

Binkle and Flip
I wouldn't have recognised the passage, but Binkle and Flip live in Oak Tree Town, so you must be quoting from The Enid Blyton Book of Bunnies or as you are using the Dean version it had been retitled to The Adventures of Binkle and Flip.
Needed a lot of clues though!!

Congratulations Tony and Raci ! When I set the question, I had no idea the passage would prove so difficult to identify out of context. There are some hilarious stories in that book (yes, my copy is the Dean & Son version) and some of them still make me laugh out loud.
This was the original passage, before I translated it into Korean and back:
Mowdie Mole is very neat
From her nose unto her feet,
She has eyes so black and bright,
They can pierce the darkest night,
And her ears are nice and small,
I think I like them best of all.

Next poser
Sorry Raci, you'll have to go ahead - at present I am spending several hours a day just trying to get the next part of the Book Listing ready, another 384 books appearing soon, so there has been an awful lot of work to do, listing, sourcing and dating all the short stories.
I will keep looking, but I can't join in at present.
Best wishes

Ok Tony! Sorry to pressure you, Thankyou again for all your hard work - it is very much appreciated!
Anita - how do you get it into Korean? When I try all I get is lots of lines of 0000000 (The same with Chinese and Japenese)
Anyway here's the next one:
"We in keep a time in the week a big meeting - oftener, if it needs - and hear grommeler the protests and, and as each one us is constituted bad ayto'es cleans. Misser beautiful or misser comes more well also in the natural meeting, but does not decide a lot of anything. They make the confidence in us decide for us."

This must be from The Naughtiest Girl in the School, when Nora is telling Elizabeth and the others about the weekly meetings.
Fraid I don't do anything special to translate the passage into Korean, Raci. Perhaps it's something to do with your computer settings?
I'll post a new passage later, when I have more time. My daughter's friend is here and I don't want her to see me reading an Enid Blyton book!
