That one is really hard Poppy!! OK, let's see, hmmm...

How about this: He writes a note on the NB with the pencil and pushes it thru the keyhole.

Or....he lives of the chocolates until the others find him.

Or... He opens up his torch and uses the metal strips inside the lock to pry it open.

Next one:

Jack, Lucy-Ann, Philip and Dinah are stranded on an Island, and no one knows they are there. In a storm, one day, a parachute in perfect condition floats down on them. They quickly catch hold of it and hope that it will start flying towards the mainland. But it takes of before Lucy-Ann can get on and the others can't bring it down. And then, the parachute doesn't go towards the mainland, but in the opposite direction!!! Oh no! Now what? Philip pokes a pin in the parachute and it starts to fall down, from a height. It will dash against the cliffs and kill all 3. But just then, Lucy-Ann jumps from the cliff, and catches hold of the parachute, so that it is thrust forward and misses the cliffs. But in her heroic efforts, Lucy-Ann's head is dashed against the cliff and she is knocked out. She's been so brave. They have to save her. What will Jack, Philip and Dinah do, with nothing but a few medicinal plants and some chocolate. They can't use sea water, Lucy-Ann is allergic to it.

WHAT WILL, THEY DO TO SAVE HER FROM BEING LOST FOR GOOD?

Unfortunatley I'm not to good with medic stuff.

I'm relying on someone else to post a solution! :D

By the way Sunskriti, why is everyone leaving this game to us? Have we offended them? :?

Well, they could still throw a lot of sea water on her, and then give her a strong anti-histamine to mitigate the allergic reaction. :D

Darrell, your problem is making my head spin. By the way, a parachute can't go up in the air like a balloon. It helps you come down to earth safely, but once it is at ground level, that's pretty much it. I also didn't know anyone could be allergic to sea water (unless it is contaminated or something).

OK, I'm in a terrible hurry, won't tell why how etc, just tell what is the problem.

Problem:

Dinah is locked in a wooden cupboard with spiders all around her. She's frozen in shock. The others want to get her out. There's no key on there side. They see a metal wire above but can't reach it. All they have is a swivel chair,on which if they stand they just miss reaching the wire. The door opens outwards, and theres no handle. If there was, they could pull with force and burst the door open. There is also wood glue and lots of stout sticks at their disposal. How can they get her out? There are 2 ways I can think of.

How about they use a stick to reach for the wire and then they can open the door using the wire to force the lock. But still they would not be able to open the door if it opens outward so how about they stick a bit of wood on the door, wait for it to dry and then open the door.Or they could try and batter down the door with the sticks?

Good puzzle by the way Sunskriti! :D
