Blyton Spot the Odd One Out
I came up with this not so long ago as I've seen quite a few quizzes with these. Its quite a simple game, pick a Blyton theme Series, Book, etc.., post three or more options one NOT on the theme. Then somebody has to answer with which one is the odd one out. E.g, Teachers Mamzelle Dupont, Miss Potts, and Mrs Trotteville,
So, here's an easy one, the theme is Five on a Treasure Island
Dick, Anne, and Fatty
Hope its a good game!

In came the Taggertys. They were clean, except Biddy knees looked like she had been crawling half a mile in some muddy place.

Re: Blyton Spot the Odd One Out
There are 2 answers here I think. You could say Miss Jenks is the odd one out as the others are headmistresses , but I must say I thought the same as Icey first.

Anne is the odd one out, she belongs to the Famous Five NOT the Secret Seven?

No, I'm afraid I don't know what happened to that, Icecream. Perhaps you accidentally pressed "Preview" instead of "Submit"? Another possibility is that a brief update or blip on the site affected posts being made at that time. I recall something like that happening once before.Icecream342 wrote:@Anita: I posted something at 8:13 this morning. I saidDo you know what happened?Yay, I won (Sort Of). Re: Blyton Spot the Odd One Out
In the last few days I've found there is quite often a long wait before the message comes up that the post has been accepted. A couple of times I've re-pressed 'submit', half expecting my post to be duplicated - but that didn't happen - and I wonder if perhaps Icey left the forum before hers had gone, without realising it.Icecream342 wrote:I deffo pressed submit.
Some messages appear almost instantly, and the length doesn't seem to be a factor. I wonder if anyone else has noticed this, or is it just my computer!

Re: Blyton Spot the Odd One Out
Thanks Icecream,
There is NO theme,
Potts, George, Jack, Tinker
Clue: There is a reason why 'Potts' does not have a title.

Re: Blyton Spot the Odd One Out
Is it Potts? Potts could be Miss Potts, who is the only teacher; Mr. Potts from Mistletoe Farm, who is the only dog; or P.C. Potts from the same series who is the only policeman.
