Re: Secret 7 Books, Quiz
Well, it is wrong.
The correct answer is that Brownie wouldn't have been worth more than 350 pounds.
Q: In Good Old Secret, when the boys decided to go snooping in the castle at night. It is decided that Peter would signal with torch to give them messages. There were three messages in total. Name the messages and the codes of torch used to symbolize the messages.

These editors with their updates do cause problems! I think the text must have been altered in your copy of Fun for the Secret Seven, Mehul. In my 1969 edition (Chapter 6) it says that the horse is worth about £10-£15 as Snehalatha said.Mehul wrote:The correct answer is that Brownie wouldn't have been worth more than 350 pounds.

Re: Secret 7 Books, Quiz
Mine is the vintage copy that Anita too has probably--- Knight books-- updating is really confusing and sad also--- many of us want to keep to the old, gold times---
Now to answer Mehul----- Peter said he would signal with one of their bike lamps-- wave it up and down. -- twice if everything is ok,four times if they wanted Peter's father to come, more than 4 times if really urgent.

Correct.
I agree Anita. I am now sure that before long, even those 350 pounds will be changed into 1400!

I believe the book was Good Old Secret Seven, the telescopes was Jacks (although he was told to share) and the castle was Torlings Castle
