Looks like everybody has conceded defeat on this last question. Any chance of posting the answer and another question to keep the quiz going? Unless of course somebody else knows the answer.....

For some unknown reason, I think its someone in Secret Seven win through, something to do with the scarecrow. This is without having read the books for a long time, so I'm probably way off!
Procrastinate now, don't put it off.

Moonface's avatar is taken from the cartoon Faraway tree series. This picture is part of the front cover of the DVD box.

I can't take any credit for my attractive avatar because it was chosen for me by our moderator. I started out with a picture of a rock cake which I thought was apt, being typical Secret Seven picnic grub, but I think it must have been too big. :D

QUESTION:

In Good Old Secret Seven the chums find an old newspaper after following Peter up some steps to a stone bench in a crumbling recess. Colin asks, 'What date is it?' Name the day and the month.

OK, I peeked - it's September 16. "Ages ago".

New Q: What's the name of the hotel the dog-stealing young man stayed at?
