Re: Famous Five Books - a Quiz
What was the full name of owner of the box?
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

Re: Famous Five Books - a Quiz
Was it George's great grandfather, I think called J.Henry Kirrin?
(My memory is very blurry, can't remember the exact name, and I'm not even sure if this is the correct answer)

Re: Famous Five Books - a Quiz
This happens at times when someone answers and then drops away for a while. After two weeks we say that anyone can ask a new question. if you go to the Games Section heading and click on it, you will see many games which are not active at the moment.
I'll start this again just to get it going.
Where were the Kirrins disappointed they were not going for their usual summer holiday?

In which story do the Five decide that if any adventures crop up they will just "...pooh-pooh it and walk off." ?

Re: Famous Five Books - a Quiz
That is annoying me as I remember it but can't remember the book. Is it "Five Go Down To The Sea" when they stay with the Penruthlans? I loved that book especially Clopper!

Adding another question to get us going again
In Five have plenty of Fun, what do they change Berta's name to when it is decided that she has to be disguised as a boy?
