There once was a young limerick writer
Who used to make the limerick lighter
but then one bright day,
she heard someone say
That he had gone to become a fire fighter.
Is anything wrong with my line?If so please tell me because I would like to improve my limerick skills

That's a very good last line ria ann (much better than Nigel's attempt I have to say!) Come on Nigel, don't confuse them - you know your line is too short!ria ann wrote:There once was a young limerick writer

Thanks Daisy.
Even I thought that Moonraker's line was a bit short but I didn't want to say anything because I had already made so many mistakes .

What about changing it a little bit.
Limericks are fun to write
As is a sweet cherry to bite
Is this ok everybody or should we make a different line?
