If you can produce limericks as good as that, I don't see why not!

Great one Icey! "Absolutly and totaly wizard" as Fatty probably could have said. (If that makes sense.)

I couldn't say as it isn't my position to, but I think you could. :) You do anyway don't you?

i'm not very sure if i had posted it or not.I didn't check the syllable.

Young Anne of Green Gables
Who did not know to recite tables
She had very good imagination
and lots of determination
She had read a lot of fables
'What did you say?' said Mam'zelle who was not well up on american slang.'Did you say,"Hallo, bodies"?That is not correct,Claudine. You should say, "hallo, everybody." '

Good to see you back Elizabeth. I think you have forgotten the syllable rules though! Lines 1&2 8 or 9 syllables, 3&4 5or6 syllables, then the last line should match the first 2.
How about this:
Young Anne who lived at Green Gables
Was not very good at her tables
With imagination
And determination
She read any amount of old fables.

I found trying to use your idea for lines 3 and 4 rather difficult to fit.

When little Anne started playing house
In the larder she found a mouse
She started to squeal
While she made her meal
And then appeared a wood-louse

Was that good?
Abi.

Abi,i think you could have made the second line a bit longer as it has only 6 syllables instead of 8/9. :|
