Congratulations Anita! Fantastic! I am not surprised though. You really are the queen of quizzes.

Re: Children's Book Characters Quiz
Cheers, but I think Mr. Google helped me with at least a third of those 200 points!
Anita
Still, I expect you had great fun hunting through your miles of bookcases! I'm sorry to have sent you on a wild goose chase through Heidi and continuation books, to see if her surname was mentioned anywhere! I really enjoyed tracking down the answers I didn't know and, like 70s-child, I've been introduced to some new books and have added a few titles to my "to read" list.Tony Summerfield wrote:I feel an absolute idiot for not using Google myself when I was setting the questions - it might have saved me a day or two!!

Re: Children's Book Characters Quiz
Well done Anita and 70s-child.
Guess you just might get to prepare the next quiz of this type, Anita, maybe with some help from Timmylover, while Tony concentrates on the Journal, the 2010 EB Day, sweeping out the Cave, dusting shelves.....I'd be happy to contribute a 'Cherrys' question.....

And if people used Google to try to find the answer, it would probably lead them straight to your postings here, Aurélien!Aurélien wrote:I'd be happy to contribute a 'Cherrys' question.....

Re: Children's Book Characters Quiz
I've spent an hour on it already, and I'm only done through with 17. Watch out for my answers tomorrow Tony! I'm having a lot of fun with it, though, as it has added a lot of books to my "must buy" list - I plan to haunt the secondhand bookshops in Old Dhaka as soon as my exams are over (9 more days!)

Re: Children's Book Characters Quiz
Great quiz! Can't believe I've not seen this before... and am now three years late to the party!
Having had a good look at it, I reckon I've got 44 points, having identified the first and second names along with book title and author for 11 entries. 6, 12, 17, 18, 31, 32, 35, 46, 47 and 50 were the ones I got. I admit I used google, but only to confirm the full title of one or two, as well as the spelling of a couple of author's names.
Have a few vague ideas for one or two more, but that's it!
