[Daisy]

A couple of hours later a very happy group were sitting round the dining table in Kirrin Cottage. Tiger had escorted the men for cross-examination, and the injured man was now in hospital, his wound seen to, and a solemn policeman was sitting by his bed waiting to question him when he was well enough.
"Wasn't it a surprise that Tiger turned out to be on the right side of the law!" said Dick as he put down his spoon, having just finished a large bowl of steamed pudding and custard.
"That's why he seemed a bit kinder I suppose." said Anne. "I'm glad it's all over now, but it did spoil our holiday. I was wishing for a peaceful time."
The others laughed. "You might know that when the Five get together things are usually far from peaceful," Aunt Fanny smiled at them all. "But I must say," she went on," I can't understand how you can enjoy your adventures so much. I found this experience we have just gone through very frightening and uncomfortable."
"You're just not used to it Mother." grinned George.
Just then there was a knock at the door. George jumped up and a moment later she returned with Tiger, who smiled round at them all.
"Tiger's come to explain more about what's been happening." she said.

[Poppy]

"Well..." Tiger began.
"I'm an under cover detective for the police around this area. We've been suspecting these men of some kind of crime for quite a while. Well, the police set me on a mission to try and uncover some of their secrets. They said for me to tell the gang I could help them. Their mission was to steal a secret both George and Berta's fathers have been working on. I wasn't really helping them of course, but just tricking them. You may be surprised when I tell you it was I who kidnapped your fathers and mother here." He paused and smiled around at the astounded faces of the children. "But of course I told them I was really a police officer and they would come to no harm."
The children sighed thankfully. "Well, this was all the trick them bad men we have just arrested. I told one of my accomplices to fly your relations over to the island tonight. I told the men we would fly to a castle I knew of and keep them prisoner until they told us their secret. But of course I had another surprise in wait for them! We were going to keep them prisoner! You kids came in quite handy actually!"
The children smiled. "I actually came to thank you all. And of course to say I am very sorry all this spoilt your lovely holiday. I know you have a couple more days off school so I was thinking... maybe we could all go off together in my sea plane and explore a few more islands round here. We could camp on one for a few nights... And of course NO more adventures!..."
"What do you think Fanny and Quentin?" Tiger asked.

"As long as Fanny agrees...", said Uncle Quentin, secretly hoping for some peaceful days to divulge in Molecular Neutrons Vol. X .
"If you promise to keep them safe, I'll let them go",said their Aunt. Dick suddenly gave her such a hugs he squealed. "If you do that again none of you are going", Fanny joked. The children hastily retreated.

"But you must promise me..." Aunt Fanny began.
"We know..." all the children chorused. "NO MORE ADVENTURES!!!"
