The Castle of Adventure. Much more dramatic and exciting.

The Castle of Adventure or The Rockingdown Mystery?

The Castle of Adventure or The Rockingdown Mystery?

The Rockingdown Mystery. The Mystery series pips the Adventure series at the post for me and The Rockingdown Mystery is a fantastic introduction to the series. I love The Castle of Adventure too, but the book doesn't summon up the same sense of nostalgia for me.

The Rockingdown Mystery or Hollow Tree House?

Chatte you need to take one of the books (The Rockingdown Mystery or Hollow Tree House) and say one of the name (which book you prefer) and than add another title. If you don't understand read a few pages and you see how it works.

The Sea of Adventure - It's my favorite book. I like that the children rescue Bill and I find it very exciting.

Oooh... Sea of Adventure, just. I love them both, but the improbability of the two elderly people living in the caves for years, in Valley, went a little too far for me. Even so, they're both superb books.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)
