The Six Bad Boys quiz :)

Post by Almas »

That's one of my favorite Blyton stand-alone books along with The Secret of Cliff Castle and House-at-the-Corner.

So - I just thought that I must do a quiz! :D

Okay - here's my question:

When Donald and Jeanie go to the Summerhayes, what is the first thing that surprises them?

Oh, come on! You just posted the question today, you can't expect an answer the very day, almost half an hour after posting it! Give it a few days!!!

I think the answer is the shouts and rough voice of Mrs Berkeley. I'm not sure, but I think it's correct. I'll give a question a bit later.

Okay, I'll give a "different" question.

Who wrote the foreword for The Six Bad Boys?

It's Enid Blyton and it is titled, A Note for the Reader from the Author...

My question:
Why is Bon angry with his mother (clue: it is beacause of a visitor) :)

Sorry, wrong answer. I meant the Foreword, not Note From The Author.

Umm...my edition doesn't has any foreward, Ming, only Enid's letter.

I own 2003 Award edition of the book (illustrated by Gleenn Steward).

Mine doesn't too - it's a 1974 Armada paperback. :(

Still, I should think there are plenty of people out there whose edition DO have the foreword - we aren't alone in playing! :)

Umm - I think your are right. In Anita's review of the book, she mentions the foreword is written by someone called Basil Henriques.

Thanks Anita! :D

I hope my answer is correct, Ming! :D

Ahem...ahem...and why is everyone sleeping in this thread?!

Bob is angry with his mother, I think because of Mrs Adams...

My Q:

How do Tom & Bob get caught in the cinema?

A lady complains to the manager that they have let two boys in who are too young to be watching a film of that rating.

If thats right then my question is: name the Five Terrors.
