Yes, I agree. Fatty & Co were much more important to me as a child than Phil et al.

A cuckoo clock. I've always been totally fascinated by them. I do have a s-i-a-b though, but no cuckoo clock. Now why's that :?:

I guess my own island would be better, I get along better with tomboys than with monkeys!

[Nigel:] "A cuckoo clock."

Now it's my turn to say that I knew you'd choose that. :P

[Ming:] "Build a tree house model or carve a wooden ship?"

A wooden ship. I'd love to be able to carve in wood.

A campfire supper with the Galliano's Circus folk or a lobster tea with Snubby and co?

The Secret Island. It reminds me of Robinson Crusoe.

The Land of Dreams or the Land of Goodies?

Ship in a bottle, I wanted one as a child after reading The Ship of Adventure. Alas it never came to pass.

Would you disguise yourself as a red headed telegraph boy or an old balloon seller?

I think you missed a page out, Lucky Star! Not that it really matters.

I'd disguise myself as an old balloon seller because I like the idea of being surrounded by a cloud of bobbing balloons at the fair.

I must be losing it, (did I ever have it).

The land of Goodies for me.

You are not alone, Lucky Star!

Definitely old Moonface. Imagine having tea with the Saucepanman; "Could I have another cup of tea, please?"

"Yes. The toilet is over there!"

Aaaarrrggghhh!

You are lost in a remote village. You call in at the inn and ask for a room. There is only one other guest staying there......

Miss G! Even if she did want to have a serious talk with me, I guess it would do me good.

The Find-outers have a present for you. Would you prefer a work box, or a hand-knitted tie?

Hmm..... a work box.

The Find-Outer's are moving away from Peterswood, but they want to leave Goon a present. Imagine you are Goon. You are given two options:

a) all the Mystery books
b) a jam tart.

A jam tart, the books would be too embarrassing.

Ok. Goon is leaving and wants to give the find-outers a present, you are any find-outer you like. Do you choose a photo of Goon or a recording of his stock phrases?

A recording of his stock phrases. Excellent! Poor Goon.

Fatty is ariving home late and a mystery crops up. Telegraph Fatty and tell him somehow to come over, or solve the mystery under Larry?

I think I can guess what the answer would be....

I'd telegraph Fatty for sure!

If you had the chance to go for a trip in the wishing-chair or climb the Faraway Tree, which would you choose?

I don't know for sure..... guess a climb up the Faraway Tree would be better...

You lost Professor Hayling's telephone number, but remember the address. However, he lives far away, and you need to notify him of the changes in the plans. Would you pay a visit or write a letter?
