Vosta was actually in Rilloby Fair. ;-) This is a character Old Ma mentions having known in the past - a character who featured in Mr Galliano's Circus. 8)

I'll warm me with your echoes

Was it the lady with the parrots? I cannot remember her name but I think it was something like Madame Petronella?

hmmm...you're very close, as Madam Petronella was indeed mentioned in The Rilloby Fair Mystery as one of the circus folk Old Ma knew, but she isn't actually in Mr Galliano's Circus - the Galliano parrot woman is called 'Madam Prunella'.

The character I'm thinking of is male, and features in all three Galliano books. :-) He doesn't own an animal...!

Ok, how about Sticky Stanley the clown? I do not remember if he owns an animal.
I guess I need to read these books, again.

Yes! Old Ma mentions Sticky Stanley the clown, (and also Volla and his bears.) :-)

Over to you! :-D

At last! Thanks Rob.

Now for a new one.

Where did Barney spend his first night in Ring o' Bells Village and how did he get into that place?

He spent the night in Ring o Bells hall. I think he got in through a window?

I'll give it to you. He climbed up the ivy to get into a window.

Over to you.

It was indeed. I was hoping nobody was going to give an updated price... if that has been altered in later editions! Over to you.
