Jack Trent ... again, although Allie is a good contender.

Here's one I would find hard to choose from -

Barney. He's a much loved and well rounded character whereas Spiky is just an extra as far as I am aware.

Ooh dear. They're both attractive characters, but I'll go for Snubby as he is just so entertaining - if rather infuriating at times!

Philip. George is feisty and brave but her constant sulks and tantrums really annoy me.

How about two characters with the similar gift of charming all animals...
