Oops sorry, I completely forgot about this. A good thing you reminded me.
Anyway this one made me chuckle the most. Over to you Domino.

(Yes, we've had that picture before but it doesn't really matter as long as we come up with new captions.)

Hilarious, Nigel. The seven elves in the illustration would double the number of those who have, so far, said they will be attending.Moonraker wrote:Eddie was really angry that the only people to attend his Exbury meet-up were the New Forest Elves.
'Go down to the side-shows by the river this afternoon. I'll meet you somewhere in disguise. Bet you won't know me!' wrote Fatty.

Not wishing to put a damper on things, statistics show that out of every ten who commit to something, four don't turn up.

(Not a caption, a reply to Moonraker)
(I first read your post quickly as "out of every ten who commit suicide...". Then I wondered what the heck you were talking about.)

Re: Caption Competition
I'll choose a winner on Saturday.
Apologies for repeating the picture. I've checked back and found it was Pete who used it and only in September last year. Not surprising that Rob remembered, as he won it. I should have remembered too as I entered a caption. My only excuse is that when you get to 75 it's only too easy to forget to remember,
