another another . and congrats Kitty!
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate.
All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.
Time to die.

Almost winning for not taking part. That would have to be a first! If only I could have won for not taking part in other things. Like school sports.moonraker wrote:I was tempted to give it Heather! I can imagine Jo-Jo saying that (but I realise she wasn't quoting!)
Does Kitty (or somebody else) have a picture for us?

Oh, gosh, thanks Ming! I've been messing about online for the last 15 minutes trying to work out how to do this - it may well not work, in which case, I'll certainly take you up on your very kind offer!
Eek! Will this work? Um...
This is meant to show a direct link, anyway...

I'm so sorry if all anyone can see is code! I will try my best to make this work. The picture is supposed to be from a Dean copy of Tales of Long Ago which really makes me laugh with it's naff illustrations!

Hey - what do you mean about the naff illustrations?! I used to love the pictures in that book, especially the swirling robes, curling clouds and noble-looking horses with arched necks.
Anyway, here's my caption:
He'd been told that irradiated vegetables were perfectly harmless, but this potato looked more like a 100 watt light bulb!

Lol! Maybe Quentin Kirrin had been experimenting on it!!!
Well, the animals are quite nice, but it's the expressions on the people's faces - every character seems extraordinarily guileless - or gormless, to be less polite - and they do make me laugh! Also, the robes in the pictures do quite often look more like one of granny's old frocks *hides from Dean-liking masses*.
