Brilliant news, Julie. Chick and I are really looking forward to reading your book.
Hearty congratulations to you and to Simon.

Great to finally see the cover of the book. Wonderful artwork from Simon. Coincidentally, I shall be in Lincoln on Tuesday so I shall pop into Waterstones to see if the book is on the shelves. Can't wait to read it.

Great to see the picture of you proudly clutching a copy, Julie. It is possibly my imagination but it looks slightly bigger than a normal paperback.

Yes, it looks more like a trade paperback/softback size than mass market paperback size.

Re: The Mysterious Boy - Julie Robinson
Thanks, Eddie and John.
I've just put the book with one of my own paperbacks, Tony, and it's the same size as a few adult paper backs that I have, but slightly larger than the odd few children's paperbacks I have. It's the same size as the Robin Stevens - Unlady Like Mystery Series - but not as thick.

Re: The Mysterious Boy - Julie Robinson
If anyone wants to buy an author's signed copy from myself, I have nine left.
The price of the book says £5.99, and the second class postage weights in at £1.25.
Please contact me via a PM if you want one of these copies. It will have to be a first come first serve only having the nine copies left. I can only post at this price to the Uk.

A real bargain, Julie!
Thanks for your kind comments on Simon's cover illustration, folks. Here his is after receiving the World's Best Illustrator award from Julie!
Edit: Apologies if you're reading this on an iPad - the picture is on its side! I have no idea why as it is the right way up on my PC.

Re: The Mysterious Boy - Julie Robinson
Is there going to be a sequel, Julie? Or a whole series, Famous Five style??

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

When I go in Waterstones in Lincoln on Tuesday I'm going to tell them Julie Robinson is the next Enid Blyton.
