I have never seen the Mousetrap, but I would love to see it and also visit Agatha's summer home, Greenway.
Well worth seeing. It's definitely a period piece - they haven't tried updating it, which is good.

(I also saw the Danish premiere of The Mousetrap, sometime between 1975 and 1982. Didn't understand a word, and didn't want to because I didn't want to spoil the English version for myself. But mainly I was a bit of a stroppy child and when made to do something I didn't want to, I sulked and refused to make the best of it. :( )

The Paul Hamlyn collection [1969-1972].

Nigel's post on the other thread made me curious to check my collection to see if any of the titles from that era had been renamed..

Fancy stacking them on top of one another. That's no way to treat a book. Get it sorted, Pete, or I'll have you banned.

I turned my original pic sideways to make reading the titles easier John.
All the same, I'm very sorry for any stress, inconvenience and anxiety I may have caused you. :D

They are still stacked on top of each other, Pete. It's not good enough. If you haven't got enough room, buy another bookcase. Show some initiative. Books deserve to be treated with respect. I shan't tell you again.

I didn't want to say this, but I will have to admit that pic is an internet picture.
My books are all on shelves.

Once again my most humble and heartfelt apologies for deceiving you dear John in this most underhand manner.

You are so tolerant, Pete. I would have told him to take a long run on a short pier.
