You can't judge a book by its film! If I'd only seen a tv adaptation of a The Famous Five story, I probably wouldn't have thought the books were up to much! :|

I agree with you whole heartedly. I didn't think about it in that way.

The books will always be superior to the movies. Especially in the case of Twilight. The films work well, but to get the depth of the whole story you need to read the books.

Breaking Dawn however is one of the worst literay pieces I have ever actually come across and I've found some good disasters in my time. The plot's a mess, the characters are so out of character you wouldn't believe. I think it just shows you that, where as Enid Blyton could produce a good solid book with plot lines in a matter of days, Stephenie Meyer was no given enough time to finish the twilight saga. Breaking Dawn was rushed, and she hadn't even intended for their to be a fourth book. She was going to leave it at three, but the demand was so huge she had to produce a fourth one.
Needless to say, as a phenominon it was a raging success, but as a literary indever it was a true disappointment.

The only thing about the movie I'm looking forward to, is seeing more of Alice and Jasper and the Volturi. Who figuratively speaking, kick butt.

I'm sorry to disagree, but actually it was me watching the TV show in the late 70s that made my parents buy me audioplays of the famous Five that later made me read them :-P.

Neither as a rule. At a Push Edward.

Technically as the fandom goes, I'm Team Jalice and Team Demetri.

Oh,Alice is so pretty and so is Bella.Edward is so charming.I like the three of them most.I am so looking forward to see Bella becoming a vampire and then they having a child who is half vampire and half human and their (werewolf's and vampire's)war against Volturi,Jane and the others.
