A Cave Worthy Of Enid Blyton

Post by pete9012S »

Extremely Deep River Cave.

Some caves that look promising peter out very quickly. This one however..

Dang!

So, the mystery of the black pipe... what an effort to get it there!

I kept expecting them to find a cave full of packing cases and baddies, up to nefarious crimes  8)

As a child I was intrigued by how many caves there were in the books I read, as I'd never found one. I deduced that there must have been a sharp decline in the number of caves over the years, going back to the caveman era when you couldn't go two steps without stumbling into one.

Getting out in one piece would have been treasure enough for me!

I would not have liked to do that. I felt peculiar watching them go deeper and deeper! I would have been hopeless at adventures.
