On Enid Blyton's 54th death anniversary, here's a tribute from a fan. This is a retelling of the first chapter of The Mystery of the Disappearing Cat -- from Bets's point of view.

Thank you Chindu - a great story.
Brilliant idea to write it from Bets' perspective too.
Best Wishes

Writing a story from an unusual point of view is a useful device.
The most famous case may be 'The Adventure of the Blanched Soldier' - a Holmes short story written by Sherlock himself, which begins with a swipe at Watson's populist style of writing. (Holmes authored a second story after he had retired.)
Another example is one of the six stories in 'Rumpole and the Angel of Death' which is written by Hilda, enabling 'She who must be obeyed' to get her say.

Thank you Splodj.
Now you've got me wondering if Poirot ever wrote a short story himself instead of Hastings?
I'm sure Nigel will know.

Thanks Chindu, I really enjoyed the change of perspective and the illustration of how nasty Tupping was towards Buster at the railway station.
