I have just read Enid's Special Note in Five Have a Mystery to Solve, and Brownsea Island isn't mentioned by name -

There are several islands in Poole Harbour, do we know for sure that Brownsea is the island in question?

Mrs Mary Bonham-Christie bought Brownsea Island in 1927. She quickly banished all residents from the island & banned any visitors, too. She briefly had two Men patrolling the island to ward off would-be visitors. She was known throughout the Isle of Purbeck & had a fierce reputation as an hard nosed individual. These facts are mirrored to some degree in "have a Mystery to solve". Enid, who was a regular visitor to Purbeck, would've undoubtedly had heard of Mrs Bonham-Christie & her 'out of bounds' island! :D

I have on occassions done guided walks on Brownsea.

Once I was attempting to talk to the group on top of the cliff, but the wind was so loud in the trees that we had to move.

Less Whispering as shouting!

I seem to recollect seeing you on one of your guided tours on Brownsea, Viv. Can't decide whether I was on the tour or just observing for a few moments. Think It was the latter. My memory is terrible at the moment! :D
