No mysteries at the moment Sue. I went to the town of Berkhamsted today and saw the birthplace of author Graham Greene but that is really the only exciting thing that has happened to me. Sorry to hear you've been unwell. I hope you're better now.

Yes, colonoscopies are not the nicest of procedures Sue, least of all the preparation you have to do before. Glad to hear that there was no cancer. I was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2006 and had my right side of the colon removed. I now have a colonoscopy every 5 years and my next one is due in 2024. So far everything has been fine.

I don't think it's cancer. Thanks for your reply and glad all is well.

Hi Sue, sorry to hear you've not been well, good to hear your results were ok though.
It's been many years since I visited Wales - it's definitely on my list of places I'd like to go back to, but it's a very long trek from East Anglia.
Not sure if it's counts as exciting, but I've certainly been busy recently, juggling my part-time job (with extra shifts due to my colleagues being unavailable), with studying. Now the studying has finished, but I'm invigilating exams!! I'm looking forward to a few days off soon when I accompany my daughter to various university open days.
I think my life finally calms down again mid-July!
I'm still managing to find time for a bit of reading though.

All the best to you, Sue! I recently had my dad and his wife over from France for a week, and my daughter and son joined us for a day or two. It was great to spend time together.

You're very brave Sue - I would have rang the hospital and said I can't make it as I'm not well!!!Susan Webster wrote: ↑12 Jun 2023, 11:09 Not been very well and had a colonoscopy at the hospital in Walsall last week . We're going to Aberporth a bit further down from Aberystwyth later in the year - they sell the best fish and chips in the world there!
Anything exciting? Well we've had lots of thunder and lightning lately - did you get that too?
Today it's been sunny, then rainy, then sunny, then rain and now the sun has come out again!!
Best Wishes
Pete

Hi. Got to have a CT scan next Wednesday at 9 50sm feeling a bit scared.
Did you all know the BBC are making a new famous five tv series. It's having some changes as to fit in with today's audience. The series will be 3 90 minutes long. Hope it will be good.

Good luck with the scan Sue. It doesn't hurt so no need to worry about that aspect of it anyway.
I don't much like updated versions of Enid Blyton stories so I doubt I will watch the new FF series. Unless everyone else says it's good of course.
