Great news Sue. I'm glad you're ok and enjoying your Welsh lessons. :D

Bore da, Sue! Yesterday morning I saw a wild otter for the first time (I'd only seen otters in zoos before). It was in the river not far from my flat, and I watched it swimming and diving for fish. A really special ten minutes or so.

Hi Sue, good to hear your Welsh course is going well.

I'm carrying one with my studies with a weekly trip to Norwich - this module is 'Cultural and Creative Industries'. It's taken me a few weeks to really get into the routine of studying again after the long summer break, but I'm now enjoying it. So far we've looked into the pros and cons of the TV licence and watched the film 'Paddington'.

Yesterday I did the reading for the coming week's seminar - all about streaming services. Most of the time I'm not very aware that most of the class are young enough to be my children, but this week's reading really made me feel my age. I hadn't even heard of a couple of the companies involved or most of the programmes mentioned!

We've already had choose a module for next Semester, and I'm very much hoping to learn German, although as it will mean a 9.00 am start, I'm not sure I'll be fully awake enough to think in English, let alone a second language. ;)

There's a thread about it on the forums, Sue (the link below will take you to it). I'm not sure how many people have watched The Curse of Kirrin Island yet, or intend to watch it at all, but we'll probably get a few thoughts on it:

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)
