There's a topic on the new FF HERE, Sue.

Good luck with your scan. At least they are painless.

Hi Sue!
I will be very interested to see what you think of the new Famous Five series on TV - I'm too frit to watch it in case I don't like it!

Really hope it goes ok for you on the 5th July with your CT scan.
Please let us know how you get on as soon as you get back from the hospital won't you?

Best Wishes and keep your chin up Sue - you have lots of friends here who will be thinking about you.

Pete

Sue, if you've seen my comments on the Malory Towers thread, you won't be surprised to know that I'm very apprehensive about any new adaptations of the Famous Five. I don't know whether I will watch it or not.

Good luck with your scan - I know a couple of people who have had them, and they got on fine with them, I think they just found it a bit boring having to lie still for however long it took - some places play music while it is scanning, but don't know if that's the norm.

Katharine, it's when you have an MRI scan that they sometimes play music through headphones to drown out the sound of the machine as some MRI scans can take up to 20 minutes. Some hospitals even let you take your own CD for them to play. However a CT scan, which Sue is having, is not a noisy machine and the scans are much quicker than the MRI.

Ah, thanks for that - yes I think it must have been the MRI they had.

Sorry for any confusion Sue.

Hope all goes well with your scan Sue. Do let us know as soon as you hear anything.

I probably won't watch the new Famous Five series. It doesn't sound like it's my kind of thing.

Had scan results. Bowels ok. But they found small lumps in my adrenal glands. Got to have another CT scan on July 18th.

Good news about the bowels, Sue. I had bowel cancer just over 17 years ago.
Hopefully the adrenal lumps will turn out to be nothing to worry about so try and not concern yourself.
