Not quite a horror, but an oddity?

"Famous Five Together" on the cover but described as "Five Run Away Together". Not an art style I recognise either.
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

Ah ignore me, it's an omnibus. The caravans must be from "Five Go Off in a Caravan." Wish eBay sellers would actually include these details!

I've got two copies of that - because of the Maxey internals! :D

Took me ages to find this thread, I was convinced it had eBay in the title 😂

Anyway, how about this? 16 copies of Enid Blyton’s magazine, bound, for just £152?

Drawbacks: they’re not consecutive issues and they didn’t bother sharing a picture.

I do need vol 7 issue 12 but even if I needed them all £9.50 a mag is rather steep!

It was two different threads at one stage — "Shop of Horrors" and "eBay Rip-Off Merchant" — and they got merged under the first name (I assume it was the earlier thread), so perhaps that's what you were thinking of. :)

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Well, it's nice to know that it's entirely possible I'm not going mad!

Oh, I wasn't betting on the possibility of that overall, just noting that you may not be in this instance.
