I assume "A Childhood At Green Hedges" by Imogen Smallwood is out of print, so what would you all say is a reasonable price to pay for a copy of this book? I have seen it on amazon.co.uk second hand for £25 and am wondering if that is the going rate.

Re: Price query....
It is quite a scarce book and I'm afraid that is probably the going rate, Manzy. Ironically the book was originally remaindered and I bought my copy from a dealer at a book fair who had eight copies and was desperate to sell them - he had them at £6 but was delighted to sell me a copy for £3! Come to the EB Day and get it signed - that will increase its value!

Re: Price query....
Like with any book, I think how much it costs is just a matter of being in the right place at the right time. My copy of 'A Childhood at Green Hedges' cost me £2.99 in an ex-library sale.

I must bring along my copy and get it signed on the Enid Blyton Day. I never thought of that. Thanks Tony. Not sure how much mine cost, hubby bought it for me a couple of years back. But I know he had trouble finding it.
Julian gave an exclamation and nudged George.
