I am always either Jack Trent or Elizabeth Farrell. You are MISS GRAYLING, Head teacher of Malory Towers. Wise, calm and responsible, you practise what you preach and are "a good, sound person the world can lean on." You are well-read and knowledgeable, and people turn to you for help and advice. But please don't be too sensible — let your hair down once in a while and have some fun!

Of course it is! My Mum has just had a go, and she was Miss Grayling! Considering that she is in fact my head teacher it just goes to show how accurate the Quiz is!

And I always thought it was nothing but a fun quiz! It might actually be rather scientific, then!Anita Bensoussane wrote:But don't you realise the quiz was rigorously tested on a sample of 10,000 people across seven continents before being unleashed on unsuspecting visitors to the website?!
Poppy, is your mother a real teacher, or are her classes only for you?

I think Anita was just joking, Farwa - hence the wink!
By the way, have you taken the quiz too? It's lots of fun and gets you thinking about some typical "Blytonesque" scenes and situations and what you'd most like to choose in each! Most of the possible results are nice characters, too - there are only one or two that most people really wouldn't want to be in real life.

Thanks, but ever heard of playing along, Courtenay?
Of course I've taken the quiz - I wouldn't be commenting on this thread if I hadn't!

I am her one and only pupil, Farwa, but she would make a very good proper teacher!Farwa wrote:Poppy, is your mother a real teacher, or are her classes only for you?

That's right - sorry, I missed your earlier post where you said you were a tie between Anne Kirrin and Jack Trent.Farwa wrote: Of course I've taken the quiz - I wouldn't be commenting on this thread if I hadn't!

You mean, playing along, or missing the fact that someone else is playing along (sorry about that, Farwa!)?Moonraker wrote: I do that most of the time.

I've just done the quiz and I'm Jack Trent. My recommended reading is The Adventurous Four which is apt because I re-read it about a month ago.

Jack Trent sounds just right for someone who has a puffin as an avatar! And of course, puffins belong to the auk family.John Pickup wrote:I've just done the quiz and I'm Jack Trent. My recommended reading is The Adventurous Four which is apt because I re-read it about a month ago.

Yes, a good connection. This makes me wonder if we could all have a mirror-image character in Enid's huge cast.Anita Bensoussane wrote: Jack Trent sounds just right for someone who has a puffin as an avatar! And of course, puffins belong to the auk family.
