Hmmm.....

We've got 5 votes:

1 for Fatty, 1 for Miss Grayling, 1 for Jack of the Secret Series, 1 for Snubby, and 1 for Noddy.

Come on and vote, everybody.

Thanks,
Adventure.

I'll second Jen in voting for Jack of the Secret series.

Brilliant avatar by the way, Julie2owlsdene! So atmospheric.

Jack of the Secret series is an excellent choice. I'll go for him too. I totally agree about julie's avatar. It makes me feel like I'm crouching in a gorse bush at midnight waiting for the gates to open.

Thanks Anita and Lucky Star. Its from the book Five Get into Trouble, a hardback, with Dust jacket, year 1952. You're right Lucky Star, the five are actually crouching behind the bushes, but I cut around that screne.

I think I'll also go for Jack from the Secret Series. I know I mentioned once that something about him and Barney irritated me, but still, he is very intelligent and clever in lots of ways.
